Job Summary
Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following standard recipes while adhering to responsible alcohol service and quality control. Welcome each guest personally within 30 seconds, ring orders into the computer, collect payment, and make change. Maintain an attractive bottle and glass display per Taco Lingo standards, keep all areas cleaned and stocked, and anticipate guest needs by learning their preferences. Practice responsible alcohol service, call a taxi when necessary, and work as a team to ensure an efficient food and beverage atmosphere.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to pass Responsible Service of Alcohol Test and obtain TABC certification
- Knowledge of FIFO inventory method
- Basic mathematical skills, handle money and give correct change
- Basic reading skills
- Basic computer skills
- Basic knowledge of beer, wine and spirits, and be familiar with standard drink recipes
- Excellent communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Multi-task oriented
- Knowledge of Taco Lingo's food & beverage specifications
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures
- Licenses certification, or registrations required for the position
- State applicable health and/or alcohol compliance card
