Job Summary
Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests while maintaining a clean, organized bar area and ensuring proper stock rotation. Process payments for cash, credit cards, and tabs, verify legal drinking age for all guests, and monitor customer behavior to resolve issues. Keep track of inventory, order supplies, and maintain cleanliness of glassware and bar equipment while adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines. Work collaboratively with staff to create a welcoming atmosphere, utilizing strong communication skills to engage guests in a friendly, professional manner.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to lift heavy objects
- Must be 18+ years old (or meet state requirements)
Desired Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of drink recipes and bar operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash and making change
- TIPS (or equivalent) certification preferred
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Experience in a high-volume environment
- Knowledge of craft cocktails and mixology
- Strong work ethic and team player mentality
- Positive attitude and high energy
