Job Summary
The Bartender at the flagship PBR bar at Texas Live! is responsible for providing an energetic and fun personality while ensuring professionalism and polite customer service. Responsibilities include mixing drinks according to recipes, serving beverages, taking orders, communicating effectively with guests and staff, handling cash and sales, and promoting current drink specials. The role requires 1-2 years of experience in high volume settings, knowledge of beverage brands, and strong communication skills, along with the ability to lift items up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years experience with bartending at high volume bars and/or nightclubs
- Knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, preparation methods and garnishments
- Must meet state legal age requirements
- Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency
Desired Qualifications
- Formal bartending training preferred
- Fluency in other languages

- May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays
