Job Summary
The Bartender position at PBR Baltimore involves providing energetic customer service while preparing cocktails and drinks, serving wine and beer, and ensuring all steps of service are met. Qualifications include 1-2 years of bartending experience, knowledge of various beverage types, and the ability to effectively communicate with guests and staff. An alcohol awareness certification and adherence to legal age requirements are mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years experience with bartending at high volume bars and/or nightclubs
- Knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, preparation methods and garnishments
- Must meet state legal age requirements
- Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency
- Mathematical skills, including basic math are used frequently
Desired Qualifications
- Formal bartending training preferred
- Fluent in languages other than English preferred
