Job Summary
Bartender responsible for taking orders, preparing and serving alcoholic, non-alcoholic and food to guests according to hotel standards; maintain stock, supplies, and cleanliness of the bar and equipment; handle cash and ensure a safe environment; demonstrate strong knowledge of wine, spirits, beer, and craft cocktails from recipes. Requires knowledge of cocktails, ability to learn and maintain menu items and brand knowledge, and compliance with state liquor regulations. Proficient in POS operations (MICROS preferred) and able to perform opening/closing side duties, upsell, and manage guest satisfaction. TIPS certification required within 30 days of hire. Must be 21+ with at least two years of experience in a similar hotel/restaurant role; ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 pounds (100 with assistance), and work a varied schedule including weekends/holidays. Employment contingent on background check and E-Verify participation.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older
- Minimum two years’ experience in a similar position with a full-service hotel or restaurant
- TIPS training certification required within 30 days of hire date
- Previous experience with MICROS POS preferred
