Job Summary
Serve all beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, following bar pre-shift notes and menus while maintaining guest service and uniform standards. Check guest IDs to verify age, de-escalate intoxicated situations, and contact management for unresolved conflicts. Pour drinks responsibly, upsell products, and handle cash accurately within the issued bank. Restock products, clean the workstation, and maintain bar equipment. Work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and long hours. This part-time role at USC Athletics offers a $20.50 hourly rate with tips and union benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Six months or more experience bartending
- Accurate cash handling skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and long hours
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms, sit, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
- Ability to lift heavy objects
Desired Qualifications
- Bartending school preferred
