Job Summary
Serve all beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, following bar pre-shift notes and provincial regulations for serving and ID checks. Learn beer, wine, and spirits varieties to suggestively upsell products while maintaining excellent guest service and uniform standards. Pour drinks responsibly, manage cash and credit transactions, and ensure the work station and equipment remain clean and sanitary. De-escalate intoxicated guest situations or contact management for confrontational behavior. Handle cash handling at the bar and restock products as needed. Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and long hours in a fast-paced environment. Smart Serve certification required.
Required Qualifications
- Six months or more experience bartending
- Accurate cash handling skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours
- Smart Serve certification
