Job Summary
Make and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks using standardized recipes, while maintaining bar cleanliness, sanitation, and equipment appearance. Ring out beverages, collect payment, and follow cash handling procedures to prepare daily reports. Train Apprentice Bartenders and Bar Porters on bar functions and guest service. Monitor inventory against set pars, request product to maintain stock, and resolve guest complaints within authority. Work varied shifts including weekends and holidays, with a high school diploma and two years of bar experience preferred. This role supports Racino services and requires familiarity with wine characteristics and menu items.

Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) years of experience in a bar or similar environment
- Experience working in a similar setting
- Knowledgeable of menu items, including mixture and serving beverages, standard beverage recipes, preparation methods, glassware, garnishes, products, menu items, supplies and equipment
- Knowledgeable of wine and champagne characteristics by the glass, major wines, designated glassware, terminology, and garnishes
- Ability to take initiative and exhibit flexibility
- Highly motivated and energetic personality
- Knowledge of Racino services to respond to guest inquiries accurately
- Excellent customer service skills as well as interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts
