Job Summary
Provide warm, professional, and personalized service to members and guests by preparing cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits according to club standards. Demonstrate strong product knowledge of classic and contemporary beverages while maintaining portion control, speed, and consistent presentation. Engage members in friendly conversation, anticipate preferences, and remember individual tastes to deliver attentive, proactive service. Accurately process orders using the point-of-sale system, manage inventory, and ensure the bar remains clean and fully stocked throughout the shift. Verify identification, follow responsible alcohol policies, and handle member concerns with discretion and professionalism. Assist with private events and special club activities as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of bartending experience in an upscale restaurant, fine dining establishment, private club, luxury hotel, or high-end hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and beverage service
- Knowledge of classic cocktail preparation and proper bartending techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, polished, and approachable demeanor
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency during busy service periods
- Ability to multitask while maintaining a high level of service
- Strong knowledge of responsible alcohol service and applicable regulations
- Ability to develop genuine relationships with members while maintaining professionalism and discretion
- Strong team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events
- Current food safety and responsible alcohol-service certifications
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with point-of-sale systems preferred but not required
