Job Summary
Provide friendly, prompt, and attentive bar service guided by guest preferences while efficiently crafting drinks to perfection using proper safety, tools, and recipe standards. Demonstrate expertise by recommending and upselling from the extensive food and drink menu, supporting servers on beverage selections, and assisting all restaurant areas as business needs arise. Maintain strict commitment to food safety, cleanliness, job safety, and sanitation standards while working in a fast-paced environment. Requires minimum 21 years of age, ability to lift up to 30 lbs, and standing for up to 8 hours per shift. Responsible Beverage Service Certification required for California positions.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs.
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- Able to work in hot and cold environments.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per shift.
- Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting and stooping.
- Manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils and technology systems.
- Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Visual ability to include distance, close, color, depth and peripheral. Also, the ability to adjust focus as needed. The role involves working in areas with low or dim lighting.
- Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Responsible Beverage Service Certifications Required (can be completed during training, and up to 60 days after start date).
