Job Summary
Greet, seat, and escort guests while delivering food and beverages in a timely fashion. Provide menu recommendations, upsell additional products, and collect bill payments using software or order slips. Check ID's to prevent minors from ordering alcoholic beverages and communicate order details to kitchen staff. Clean and maintain table appearance and tableware throughout the shift. This role requires prior waiter/waitress experience, strong teamwork, and the ability to multitask under pressure. Ottava Via serves homemade Italian dishes in Corktown, Detroit, featuring patio seating and an outdoor Bocce Ball court.
