Job Summary
Deliver high standards of service by assisting with food and beverage, knowing member names, and greeting guests promptly. Accurately execute orders and requests while maintaining beverage control through proper liquor stocking and pouring. Prepare the bar area by setting up bottles, garnishes, glassware, and ice, ensuring full stock and cleanliness with regular sanitizing. Address and resolve member and guest complaints professionally, notifying management of issues. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the a la carte menu, daily features, and specials. Complete additional duties as assigned by management, including restocking supplies and supporting team efforts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in alcohol and food safety awareness
- Previous experience in Food & Beverage service
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong commitment to maintaining the highest ethical work standards
- Comfortable working in both indoor and occasional outdoor environments
- Basic bar and wine knowledge, including but not limited to various cocktails and wine varietals
- Ability to properly open a bottle of wine with a wine tool
- Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments, with potential exposure to dust, fumes, or gases
- Capable of climbing ladders, squatting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, twisting, bending, and folding/unfolding as required
- Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs. occasionally
- Effective communication skills, including talking and hearing, with sufficient visual acuity
