Job Summary
Assist with event space preparation, setup, and ongoing maintenance while crafting high-quality drinks with speed and precision. Warmly welcome guests, offering confident cocktail and wine recommendations to create an engaging atmosphere. Maintain situational awareness to anticipate needs, collaborate with servers and kitchen staff for smooth service, and personalize experiences for special occasions or dietary restrictions. Ensure bar organization, check stock levels, and support inventory while remaining composed during peak hours. Valid Smart Serve certification and proven hospitality experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Smart Serve certification required
- Proven experience in event service or hospitality bartending
- Excellent food and wine knowledge and ability to describe
- A passion for guest service and creating memorable moments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to remain composed under pressure and adapt to fast-paced environments
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift 30lbs
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
