Job Summary
Bartender at Oasis Grill: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes and guest preferences; maintain the bar area; ensure compliance with safety and legal regulations; provide friendly, professional service and create a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities include beverage preparation and service, suggesting drinks to guests, ensuring correct glassware and garnishes, handling orders at the bar or via wait staff, cash handling and POS operations, maintaining bar cleanliness and stock, adhering to health, safety, and age-restriction policies, inventory management, collaboration with waitstaff/kitchen/management, and assisting with events and promotions. Strong communication, knowledge of drink recipes and bar equipment, multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and ability to remain calm under pressure are emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Certification in alcohol service may be required depending on location
- Previous bartending experience in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality setting (required)
- Experience in customer service and handling cash transactions
- Certifications: Alcohol Service Certification may be required in some regions
