Job Summary
Setup and breakdown the dining area daily, inspect the bar before opening, and stock supplies as needed. Prepare garnishes, fruits mixes, and pre-mixed drinks, then mix, prepare, and serve beverages to members while collecting payments. Maintain and clean the bar area and equipment, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and rotation of food items to prevent spoilage. Keep accurate records of liquor, beer, and wine stock, and communicate any issues to the manager on duty. Follow all laws and club policies regarding alcohol and tobacco service, and attend required staff meetings and training sessions.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GE
- At least 1-3 years of experience in a bartending
- Deep knowledge of wine, liquor, beer, food, and proper service
- Ability to create classic cocktails
- Must be 21 years of age
- Consistent weeknight and weekend availability
- Presentable - Able to put your best foot forward and present yourself in a clean and professional way to our members
- Strong Communication Skills - Able to assess needs and desires by communicating with our members and team
- Team Player - Work closely with Food and Beverage department leaders and fellow team members to meet goals
- Fast-Paced - Able to manage multiple tasks at once
- Ability to lift and move 25-50lbs
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
