Job Summary
Prepare and dispense beverages using standard recipes and measurements while applying suggestive selling techniques to enhance sales. Provide excellent guest service by checking identification for guests under 30, refusing service to intoxicated individuals, and communicating impaired guests to management. Ring orders in the POS system, maintain accurate financial records including discounts and comps, and ensure a clean, safe work area. Complete daily and weekly side work, assist team members, and report guest complaints or operational problems to management. Adhere to all company policies and training manual expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Able to read, understand and speak English
- Able to communicate clearly and concisely
- Has simple arithmetic skills
- Able to coordinate, organize and remember details
- Has hand manipulation skills, including power grasping (holding and carrying cases of beer/liquor), simple grasping (opening wine) and fine manipulation (operating computer)
- Able to stand for an eight-hour shift
- Able to climb stairs
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Able to reach above head and bend to put items on the floor or low shelves
- Able to work as part of a team for the benefit of the guest
- Able to work at a consistently fast pace in a loud environment
