Job Summary
Bartender position at Mile High Deli (Denver Intl Airport) - part-time. Responsibilities include preparing and serving beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences, verifying guest identification for Colorado liquor laws, processing orders and handling cash via POS systems, maintaining bar cleanliness, monitoring safety and service, and collaborating with team during peak periods. Requires knowledge of standard drink recipes, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong customer service and communication skills, basic math and cash handling, and airport badging/security clearance. Must be at least 21 and have or be able to obtain required credentials. Education: high school diploma/GED or related experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous bartending experience in a high-volume environment preferred
- Knowledge of standard drink recipes and cocktail preparation
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain required airport badging and security clearance
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; communicate information effectively to customers and co workers
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
- Physical Demands: Able to stand and lift up to 75 pounds
- Work Environment: Safety and procedures knowledge
- Travel: No travel required
