Job Summary
Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages following luxury standards and precise recipes. Execute proper mise-en-place by restocking spirits, wines, mixers, garnishes, ice, and glassware while maintaining bar cleanliness and compliance with health regulations. Engage with guests to recommend pairings, handle concerns with discretion, and collaborate with the barback and server team during high-volume periods. Ensure accurate cash handling and POS entries. Craft syrups, infusions, and fresh juices to meet program standards.
Required Qualifications
- Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages, according to local state laws
- Flexible and long hours sometimes required
- Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and /or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
- Ability to stand for the entire shift
- Previous bartending experience
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines
- Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
- Previous experience supervising others preferred
