Job Summary

Greet guests and members, take orders, and prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and light meals using standard recipes and prudent portion control. Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, liquor brands, and resort services to make recommendations, up sell items, and accommodate special requests. Keep the bar stocked with all supplies, clean glassware, and dispose of waste while following sanitation and health department guidelines. Handle cash, charge, room, and credit card transactions, balance the bank at shift end, and calculate tip outs. Ensure minors and intoxicated persons are not served, resolve guest complaints within scope, and report unsafe conditions or unusual events to management.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
  • Must complete TIPS® (Training for Intervention Procedures) alcohol awareness certification as scheduled upon employment
  • Must have a valid current Food Handlers Card or willingness and ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment
