Job Summary
Greet guests and members, take orders, and prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and light meals using standard recipes. Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, liquor brands, and wine selections to make recommendations and up-sell food and beverage items. Prepare drinks following prudent portion control while ensuring the bar area remains clean, stocked, and properly set up daily. Handle cash, charge, room, and credit card transactions accurately, balancing the bank and calculating tip outs at the end of each shift. Ensure minors and intoxicated persons are not served alcohol, resolve guest complaints within scope of authority, and report unsafe conditions or accidents to management. Adhere to all food handling, sanitation, and TIPS guidelines, completing required training as scheduled.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
