Job Summary
Provide energetic and outgoing service as a Bartender at Live! Arena, handling drink preparation and customer service in a high-volume environment. Responsibilities include mixing cocktails, serving various beverages, taking orders, checking identification, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Candidates must have at least 1-2 years of bartending experience, knowledge of drink recipes and brands, and strong communication skills. Formal training is preferred, along with necessary certifications and a commitment to high-energy service.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years experience with bartending at high volume bars and/or nightclubs
- Knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, preparation methods and garnishments
- Must meet state legal age requirements
- Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with guests, cooks, wait staff, and supervisors
- Reading and writing abilities are utilized often when taking orders, completing paperwork, etc.
- Mathematical skills, including basic math are used frequently
Desired Qualifications
- Formal bartending training preferred
- Fluent in English, other languages preferred
- Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card

- May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays
