Job Summary
Greet residents and guests while preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and company standards. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the point-of-sale system, deliver meals and drinks promptly, and maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining areas. Monitor resident satisfaction, restock liquor and supplies, and process payments accurately while following all food safety and health department regulations. Assist with opening and closing duties, participate in special events, and report equipment issues to management. Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age, or older, to bartend.
- Ability to operate a POS system.
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Lift and carry up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Bend, reach, stoop, and twist throughout the shift.
- Safely carry trays, glassware, and food items.
- Work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as scheduled.
- Strong hospitality mindset with a commitment to outstanding service.
- Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, cocktails, and responsible alcohol service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to remain calm and courteous during busy service periods.
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous bartending and serving experience preferred.
- Alcohol service certification (TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol, or state-required certification) preferred.
- Food Handler or ServSafe certification preferred.
