Job Summary
Set up and service beverage locations while properly handling cash and enforcing liquor laws. Verify and account for all liquor inventory, maintain proper sanitation, and follow safety practices. Provide pleasant and efficient service to customers by preparing items for sale and requesting identification for every guest purchasing alcohol. Accurately verify cash registers and inventory with the supervisor, adhering to ASM Global Food and Beverage Division rules. This part-time role at Save Mart Center requires a valid California RBS certification, age 21 or older, and the ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must obtain a valid California RBS certification
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must pass a clean background and credit check
- Must be reliable and dependable
- Must have ability to take directions and effectively perform the work
- Must have sufficient math ability to accurately count and handle money
- Must have basic working knowledge of cash register and cash handling procedures
- Must speak and understand English well enough to converse with customers, supervisors, and employees
- Must have a pleasant personality and a neat appearance
- Must be able to stand walk for the duration of shift
- Must be able to carry and lift, according to industry standards
- Requires ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours
- Must speak, read and understand English to converse with customers, supervisors and employees
- Must have basic working knowledge of bar operation
- Must have ability to follow directions and effectively perform the work
- Must be able to lift 40-lbs on a regular bases
