Job Summary
Bartender Leader oversees bar operations for all events, leads a team during event service, coordinates day-to-day bar needs, assists with inventory control, and ensures compliance with Toledo Zoo policies and liquor regulations. The role emphasizes leadership in fast-paced, event-driven environments, customer service excellence, and collaboration with Food Service Management to deliver smooth bar service.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum training & qualifications: Previous bartending and cocktail mixing experience required.
- Previous leadership experience is preferred.
- Must possess strong customer service and communication skills.
- Must have the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work on your feet, and be outside in winter and summer elements for several hours at a time.
- Flexibility to work schedules includes weekdays, weekends, evenings and holidays.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must have a valid drivers’ license and be insurable by the fleet insurance carrier.
- The Toledo Zoo is a drug-free workplace, including marijuana.
