Job Summary
Bartender / Lead Bartender at Stadium Brew Co in Aliso Viejo, CA. Prepare and serve beer, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages at a high level while delivering friendly, professional service to guests. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar; verify legal drinking age and serve alcohol responsibly. Support shift-lead responsibilities such as opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and keeping the team on track during service. Help train and support fellow bartenders and barbacks; follow health, safety, and alcohol-service standards; handle difficult customers with grace. Strong candidates will thrive in a high-volume environment, lead by example, and guide the team during shifts; possess solid knowledge of beer, cocktails, and standard drink builds. The role combines bartending expertise with lead responsibilities and opportunities for advancement.
Required Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of bartending experience (high-volume bar or restaurant strongly preferred)
- Shift lead experience strongly preferred
- Must currently hold a valid California RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) certification
- Must currently hold a valid California Food Handler card
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must be available to work holidays
- Availability for 2–4+ shifts per week, including nights and weekends
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to ~40 lbs
