Job Summary
Bartender position at Chili’s Grill & Bar inside Key West International Airport. Responsibilities include greeting guests, preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks per recipes, assisting servers with guest drinks, handling payments, maintaining bar cleanliness, ensuring adherence to alcohol policies, and providing friendly, efficient service to create a welcoming guest experience. Must operate the bar efficiently, balance the bar cash register, and uphold safety and sanitation standards while delivering consistent, high-quality beverages and service.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to operate POS system, make change and accurately conduct credit card transactions.
- Ability to account for all monies (balance) at end of each shift.
- Stands 100% of shift.
- Frequent immersion of hands in water.
- Ability to clearly verbalize and respond to guest.
- Ability to read menu.
- Lifts up to 40lbs. several times per shift.
- Ability to effectively request and review identification for age verification from each guest, as required by state and local laws.
