Job Summary
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, beer, and wine, following standard recipes and presentation guidelines. Provide friendly, attentive service to guests while maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area. Monitor inventory, operate the POS system for accurate transactions, and ensure compliance with responsible alcohol service laws. Assist with bar setup, breakdown, and restocking for daily service and special events while maintaining high sanitation and safety standards. Work flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays in varying weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old (or as required by state law)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year experience bartending in a restaurant, bar, hotel, or resort environment
- Strong knowledge of: Liquor, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Mixology techniques, recipes, and garnishes
- Proper glassware and presentation standards
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-first mindset
- Ability to multitask and perform efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing 20+ pounds
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, humidity, or cooler temperatures)
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
