Job Summary
Deliver high standards of service by assisting with food and beverage orders, greeting members by name, and executing requests accurately. Maintain beverage control through accurate pouring, proper liquor stocking, and responsible management of all drinks. Prepare the bar area for service by setting up bottles, garnishes, glassware, and ice, while ensuring the workspace remains clean, sanitized, and organized. Address guest complaints professionally and notify management of issues. Complete daily assignments including restocking supplies and side work as assigned by management. Follow all safety guidelines, policies, and procedures while supporting the team environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in alcohol and food safety awareness
- Previous experience in Food & Beverage service
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong commitment to maintaining the highest ethical work standards
- Comfortable working in both indoor and occasional outdoor environments
- Basic bar and wine knowledge, including but not limited to various cocktails and wine varietals
- Ability to properly open a bottle of wine with a wine tool
- Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments, with potential exposure to dust, fumes, or gases
- Capable of climbing ladders, squatting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, twisting, bending, and folding/unfolding as required
- Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs. occasionally
- Effective communication skills, including talking and hearing, with sufficient visual acuity
