Job Summary
Prepare alcohol and non-alcohol beverages, mix ingredients for cocktails, and present the bar menu to guests. Interact with customers, take orders, serve snacks, and check identification to confirm legal drinking age. Assess guest needs and preferences to provide recommendations and helpful suggestions. Restock and replenish bar inventory while maintaining an organized, clean bar environment. Comply with all food and beverage regulations and liquor laws. Work peak hours including evenings, holidays, and weekends. Intown Golf Club offers a diverse, seasonally-inspired beverage menu for guests relaxing after a day at the office.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in bartending
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Ability to walk, stand, and carry heavy trays
- A friendly, attentive attitude
- Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and food
- Must be the minimum age to serve alcohol
- A passion for providing customers with high-quality service
- Compliance with all local, state, and federal liquor laws
- Willingness to work at peak hours, which may include evenings, holidays, and weekends
