Job Summary
Prepare alcohol and non-alcohol beverages, mix ingredients for cocktails, and present the bar menu. Interact with customers to take orders, serve snacks and drinks, assess preferences, and make recommendations. Check customer identification to confirm legal drinking age and restock bar inventory and supplies. Comply with all food and beverage regulations while maintaining an organized, clean bar. Work Saturdays and Sundays with five days PTO and proximity to Ballston Metro Station.
Required Qualifications
- Saturday AM, Saturday PM and Sunday AM availability
- Proven working experience as a bartender
- Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Relevant training certificate
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of a second language
