Job Summary
Bartender at Hilton Garden Inn Dallas Downtown. Responsibilities include preparing and serving cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages according to standard recipes; greeting guests, taking orders, and providing recommendations; maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area; restocking liquor, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and supplies; processing payments with POS systems; verifying guest IDs for age compliance; following sanitation, safety, and alcohol service policies; assisting with bar opening/closing; reporting equipment or maintenance needs; performing additional duties as assigned by management. Must have knowledge of drinks, mixology, and POS systems; strong customer service and multitasking abilities; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bartending certification preferred (where applicable)
- Experience minimum 1 year bartending or high-volume restaurant/bar experience preferred
- Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology, and POS systems required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cocktail preparation
- Understanding of responsible alcohol service and state/local regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods
- Strong cash-handling and basic math skills
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and cleanliness
