Job Summary
Service all guests in the bar quickly, efficiently, and friendly while maintaining cleanliness of all work areas. Pour drinks correctly, handle voids, and verify that no one under twenty-one receives alcohol. Enforce city and state alcohol regulations and notify the manager immediately when a guest is recognized to be intoxicated. Control, measure, and report daily bar sales; prepare inventory audits and work with the Food and Be Manager on ordering and storing. Maintain high personal appearance standards, wear the proper uniform, and adhere to the employee handbook. Work in a fast-paced environment standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and ensuring all sanitation procedures are followed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least one year bartending
- TIPS training
- Serve Safe course
- Ability to be on their feet for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to read and speak English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to effectively communicate with employees, guests and supervisors
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Energetic and outgoing personality
- Positive attitude
