Job Summary
Maintain guest service by promptly responding to needs, ensuring satisfaction, and enforcing age and safety regulations while serving alcohol. Pour drinks correctly, manage inventory, and audit bar sales daily to control costs and report discrepancies. Ensure all sanitation procedures are followed, maintain a clean work area, and notify supervisors of any security or maintenance issues. Work in a fast-paced environment requiring long periods on your feet and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of bartending experience
- TIPS training
- Serve Safe course
- Ability to be on their feet for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to read and speak English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to effectively communicate with employees, guests and supervisors
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
- Must have an energetic and outgoing personality
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and understand the sense of urgency for our guests
- Must maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- Must wear the proper uniform and nametag when working
- Must be on time
