Job Summary
Greet guests promptly, take beverage and food orders accurately, and prepare cocktails, mixed drinks, beer, and wine according to established recipes. Maintain clean and organized bar stations, wash and sanitize glassware and equipment, and restock liquor, mixers, garnishes, and supplies as needed. Process guest payments using point-of-sale systems, verify guest age identification, and ensure compliance with responsible alcohol service laws and local liquor regulations. Monitor inventory levels, notify management of shortages, and minimize product waste while handling cash and credit card transactions. Work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
- Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and local liquor laws
- Food Handler Certification and Responsible Beverage Service Certification preferred or required based on local regulations
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous bartending, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred
- Knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, cocktails, beer, and wine service
