Job Summary
Prepare beer, cocktails, wine, and nonalcoholic beverages using approved recipes and portion standards. Take and enter accurate food and beverage orders while providing recommendations based on guest preferences. Keep the bar stocked, clean, and organized by restocking product, glassware, ice, and supplies. Complete opening, cleaning, sanitation, and closing duties. Maintain responsible alcohol service by verifying identification and monitoring consumption. Communicate low inventory, quality concerns, and guest issues to management. Support the service bar and restaurant team without sacrificing the seated guest experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must meet all state and local requirements for serving alcohol
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to stand and move throughout the shift
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds, including ice and bar supplies
- Must be able to work safely around glassware, cleaning products, wet surfaces, and changing temperatures
Desired Qualifications
- Previous bartending or high-volume restaurant experience is preferred
- Working knowledge of craft beer, cocktails, and spirits is preferred; training is available
