Job Summary
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks per brand specs and menu descriptions. Greet customers, take orders, and enter them into the POS system while answering questions and offering suggestions. Maintain a clean work area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment. Operate the point of sale system to handle cash, credit, and debit transactions, ensuring accurate charges and correct change. Follow food safety regulations and state alcohol service standards, including visual age identification. Monitor patrons for satisfaction and safety, identifying and removing problem clients as needed. Take inventory, order supplies, and perform opening and closing procedures. Part-time role with free Hersheypark admission and parking; requires RAMP certification and age 18 or older.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Post-Employment – RAMP Certification
- Must be able to climb ladders occasionally
- Must be able to reach forward frequently
- Must be able to climb stairs occasionally
- Must be able to lift frequently (50lbs maximum weight)
- Must be able to reach overhead frequently
- Must have frequent finger dexterity
- Must have frequent hand/eye coordination
- Must be able to stoop frequently
- Must be able to bend constantly
- Must be able to sit occasionally
- Must be able to stand constantly
- Must be able to walk constantly
- Must have a good sense of vision (either corrected or uncorrected)
- Must have visual ability to operate moving equipment such as a car, truck, golf carts, etc.
