Job Summary
Provide high-quality beverage production and service to members and guests while maintaining the bar, service areas, and storerooms in a neat, organized, and secure manner. Follow proper procedures for stocking, cleaning, and ensuring opening and closing duties are performed to guarantee bar readiness. Serve food and alcoholic beverages, preparing wines, spirits, and mixed drinks according to established recipes. Confirm guest orders, anticipate needs, and offer suggestions while ensuring charges are applied correctly to member accounts. Maintain accurate inventory, cut garnishments, and respond promptly to guest concerns. Work various shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be outgoing
- Must have strong customer service skills
- Availability to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and occasional holidays
- Must have multi-tasking abilities
- Must have good oral communication skills
- Must be able to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment
- Must be able to take initiative and perform job functions with diligence, speed, and accuracy
- Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity for most of the workday
- Required to exert physical effort in handling objects more or less than 30 pounds
- Required to walk or stand for extended periods
- Required to work in various weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a restaurant/bar/country club setting is preferred
