Job Summary
Set up and break down the bar in a timely manner, greeting guests and delivering accurate, timely service throughout the event. Communicate effectively with the bar back to assist with replenishment, attend to guest needs, and clean the bar after closing while discarding excess ice and restocking items. Lift approximately 40 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, scooping, and carrying equipment while traveling throughout the stadium. This seasonal, part-time role at Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter requires mixology skills, VIP service experience, and proper certifications. Daily meals are provided per shift.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- 2+ years of bartending experience
- Must be a team player
- Phenomenal communicator
- Experience in preparing mixed drinks
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proper certifications (must have or be willing to obtain)
- Extremely hardworking and organized
- Exceedingly responsible and accountable
- Good grooming and personal hygiene
- Knowledge of upscale/VIP service styles
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, such as but not limited to, lifting approx. 40 lbs
