Job Summary
Craft classic and creative drinks while using jiggers, cutting fruit, and garnishes to meet guest expectations. Maintain bar, dining room, and storage sanitation by following health standards, washing glassware, and organizing areas. Assist with overall beverage preparation and perform additional tasks as requested by onsite leadership. Work extended hours, weekends, and on-call shifts to cover front desk staff when needed, responding promptly to emergencies. Travel for ad-hoc training sessions off-site.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Understanding of basic kitchen sanitation
- Ability to take direction
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work fast and effectively and stay focused under pressure
- Must be able to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods of time
- Able to work under pressure, maintain composure and utilize good judgement during emergency/difficult and stressful situations
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
- Ability to quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required to meet the job functions
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on project requirements
- Ability to respond to emergencies and callouts in a timely manner
- May be occasionally required to cover for front desk staff at other communities within a reasonable commuting distance when needed
Desired Qualifications
- May be required to travel for training sessions off-site on an ad-hoc basis
