Job Summary
Provide warm, professional, and personalized service to members and guests by preparing cocktails, wine, and beer according to club standards. Demonstrate strong product knowledge of spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages while maintaining portion control, speed, and consistent presentation. Engage members with friendly discretion, anticipate their needs, and remember preferences to create memorable experiences. Accurately process orders using the point-of-sale system, maintain a clean and stocked bar, and monitor inventory. Verify identification, follow responsible alcohol policies, and assist with private events or member functions as needed. Work flexible evening and weekend shifts in a high-volume environment while collaborating effectively with servers and culinary staff.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of bartending experience in an upscale restaurant, fine dining establishment, private club, luxury hotel, or high-end hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and beverage service
- Knowledge of classic cocktail preparation and proper bartending techniques
- Strong knowledge of responsible alcohol service and applicable regulations
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events
- Current food safety and responsible alcohol-service certifications
