Job Summary
Welcome guests with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude while preparing and serving cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and presentation standards. Provide knowledgeable recommendations regarding beverages, menu offerings, and ingredients, and verify identification to responsibly serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with Florida law. Accurately enter orders, process payments, and maintain proper cash handling procedures while completing opening and closing responsibilities. Keep the bar clean, organized, and stocked, monitoring inventory levels and restocking liquor, beer, wine, mixers, and glassware as needed. Follow sanitation and food safety procedures, monitor guest consumption, and report equipment issues or safety hazards promptly to leadership. Work collaboratively with Food & Beverage team members to ensure smooth service, assist with side work, and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Must meet all applicable age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
- Food safety and responsible alcohol service certification preferred or ability to obtain required certifications
Desired Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience in a hotel, resort, restaurant, bar, or similar hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, beverage preparation, and responsible alcohol service
- Previous cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) experience
- Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor
- Ability to engage naturally with guests while providing attentive and efficient service
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
