Job Summary
Maintain personal grooming and uphold a clean, safe, and well-stocked work environment at Smithy's Bar and Cloud 9 Rooftop Bar. Deliver exceptional food and beverage service while adhering to operational, safety, and hygiene procedures. Demonstrate strong product knowledge and comply with all preparation and dispensing standards. Complete all opening, closing, and cashiering duties accurately and efficiently. Participate in all required training sessions to continuously improve service and product knowledge. Collaborate effectively with team members and assist other departments as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Required Qualifications
- 1 - 2 years of experience working in a similar restaurant, hotel or bar environment
- Experience making cocktails with a good knowledge of all things beverage related from the classics to more complex and sophisticated
- Personable, enjoy working in a busy environment and engaging with guests
- Good communication, a team player and attention to detail
- Adaptable and the ability to multi-task and anticipate the guests' needs, including early mornings, late nights and shift work to suit airport traffic
- Enjoy working in a hotel environment and have the flexibility to rotate across Smithy's Bar and Cloud 9 Rooftop Bar, and support other outlets as needed
