Job Summary
Greet guests courteously, mix hand-crafted beverages using precise recipes, and input orders into the point-of sale system. Manage cash transactions, verify charges, and maintain proper bar setup while cutting, storing, and preparing fresh fruit garnishes daily. Adhere strictly to liquor regulations regarding minors and intoxicated guests, perform assigned cleaning tasks to meet health standards, and operate the keyboard and POS procedures to close out checks. Requires previous bartending experience, basic math skills for register operations, and the ability to work in confined spaces for extended periods. Full-time role with $5.00/hour plus tips, free parking, and employee meals at Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport.
Required Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of alcoholic beverages
- Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language
- Basic mathematical skills
- Ability to remember, recite, and promote the variety of menu items
- Ability to operate a keyboard & point of sale procedures
- Ability to work and stand in confined spaces for long periods of time
