Job Summary
Prepare consistently excellent cocktails, manage multiple tables, and check guest IDs to verify age requirements for alcohol purchases. Memorize the beer, wine, and specialty cocktail lists, plus lunch and dinner menus, while using the Micros POS system to process orders. Ensure outlets are stocked, keep bars clean, and handle money and alcohol with responsibility. Accommodate special requests, upsell effectively, and maintain a high standard of personable service under pressure. This role involves extended standing and walking, and requires bartending and server experience. Must be 21 years of age and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Standing and walking for extended periods of time
- Name usage
- Ability to adhere to ABC standards
- Ability to communicate effectively and serve guests graciously to a high standard
- Ability to prepare consistently excellent cocktails
- Check ID of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- Memorization of the beer, wine, and specialty cocktail list, as well as, lunch and dinner menu, based on location
- Ability to use Micros POS system
- Ability to manage multiple tables at one time
- Accommodate special requests to guests, or offer alternatives
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
- Ability to deal with difficult guests
- Ensure bars are clean and dusted and checklists are completed
- Provide service that exceeds guests' expectations
- Basic math skills
- Responsibility when handling money and alcohol
- Ability to upsell and work well with a team
- Ensure outlets are stocked for the day
- Bartending and server experience needed
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be Guest oriented and friendly
- Must be 21 years of age
