Job Summary
Bartender at Taverna Costale responsible for crafting high-quality cocktails and providing genuine hospitality at the bar, handling cash, and delivering an elevated guest experience. Proficient in making a wide range of cocktails following prescribed recipes, informing guests about menu items, ensuring bar sanitation, and adhering to alcohol awareness and safety policies. Requires strong communication with guests and team members, energetic and positive demeanor, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30+ pounds. Minimum 2 years of bartending experience and a passion for food and hospitality is essential. Location: St. Petersburg, FL (onsite) with focus on preparing beverages, maintaining a stocked and sanitary bar, and supporting servers and guests in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years bartending experience
- Excellent communication skills with guests and team-members
- Ability to pay attention to details
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 30+ pounds repetitively
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Knowledge of how to make commonly requested cocktails and the ability to follow the recipes for an elevated drink making program
