Job Summary
Takes orders, prepares, and serves drinks to members and guests while maintaining proper inventory levels of bar stock and liquor. Rings up orders for signature, ensures sanitation standards meet Health Department regulations, and stocks appropriate glassware for all shifts. Performs bar opening and closing duties, assists with happy hour buffet setup and cocktail orders on the floor, and handles member complaints. Requires high school diploma or GED with one-year related experience, ability to work unusual hours including weekends and holidays, and inventory control skills. Previous experience in an upscale restaurant, hotel, or club is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- minimum of one-year related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- inventory control and reordering skills
- ability to work unusual hours including weekends and holidays
