Job Summary
Craft and serve a diverse range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company recipes, while greeting guests, taking orders, and providing recommendations. Maintain bar cleanliness by washing glassware, cleaning spills, and disposing of trash, then monitor inventory levels to communicate shortages to the Bar Manager. Process cash and credit card transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system and verify customer age to ensure legal compliance. Address guest concerns promptly, collaborate with servers and kitchen staff for smooth operations, and assist with private event setups and promotions. Stay informed on new beverage trends to improve skills. Requires a Food Handler and state alcohol certificate, ability to work holidays, nights, and weekends, plus physical stamina for standing, walking, and lifting 50 pounds in a loud environment.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED certificate preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age / 21 years of age in OK, VA and NC
- Food Handler and state alcohol certificate required
- Previous high volume bartending experience preferred
- Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends with increased hours during peak times
- Ability to withstand prolonged periods of standing, walking, climbing stairs
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times
- Must be able to work in an environment with loud noise, flashing lights and repetitive motions
