Job Summary
Greet guests with a smile, take food and beverage orders, and mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to company standards. Maintain a clean, well-stocked bar, prepare garnishes, and coordinate with the kitchen for timely service. Process cash transactions, complete paperwork, and suggestively sell menu offerings and promotions. Adhere to alcohol awareness procedures, safe food handling, and workplace safety standards while performing opening and closing duties. Must meet state minimum age for serving alcohol, obtain alcohol awareness certification, and demonstrate effective guest interaction skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- six months related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages
- must be able to obtain alcohol awareness certification
- knowledge of beer, wine, and liquor
- Ability to focus on providing a superior guest experience
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
- Ability to effectively communicate information individually and in small group situations
- Ability to understand the English language both written and verbal
- Must be able to communicate in verbal and written forms
- Must be able to visually navigate through the unit
- Must be able to lift and carry (0-50 lbs.)
- Must be able to reach, grasp, push and pulling (0-60 lb.)
- Must be able to stoop and bend
- Must be able to continuously stand and walk
