Job Summary
Maintain a friendly, cheerful demeanor while waiting on guests, making recommendations, and up-selling beverages. Create and serve drinks, process cash and charge transactions, and stock the side station with garnishments, mixers, ice, and jiggers. Assist the Food and Beverage Manager with stocking and prepare for the next shift. Close checks, run reports, and keep bar tables, chairs, and counters clean while adhering to food safety requirements. Report missing items or property damage to the Housekeeping Supervisor and provide assistance to other team members. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Deliver DKN's "Home Away From Home" experience in the restaurant bar environment.
Required Qualifications
- English speaking or bilingual
- Operate cash register
- Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations
- Ability to prioritize, organize and make good judgments
- Dependable
- Must be aware of the importance of safety and security
- Endeavor to be conscious of safety and security at all times
- Friendly and courteous to guests and fellow team members at all times
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience
- Previous one (1) year experience preferred
- Basic state, local and dram shop laws
