Job Summary
Bartender position responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a high-volume, high-energy setting. Duties include greeting guests, learning preferences, upselling menu items, creating recipes, using proper glassware and garnishes, maintaining bar cleanliness, coordinating transfers for guests, handling cash per management procedures, assisting with beverage inventories, and communicating with the Manager-on-Duty. Requires knowledge of the beverage/menu, ability to work quickly and multitask, strong communication and listening skills, and a team-oriented mindset; physical requirements include standing for long periods and lifting up to 75 lbs as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years previous high-end restaurant or hotel experience
- Expertise in Alcohol and cocktail making in high volume environments
- Amari and Grappa knowledge a plus
- Excellent listener & communicator
- Ability to focus on guest interaction and multitask
- Team player and able to anticipate other's needs
- Understands sequence of service and coursing
- Positive Attitude
- Food Handlers card up to date
- Alcohol Awareness card up to date
